A World Bank mission visited the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to support the implementation of the INAYA Project. This mission follows the approval of the project, worth 12.6 million Special Drawing Rights, by the World Bank’s Board of Directors on May 19, 2017. The financing agreement also provides for matching government funding of US$2 million over the life of the project (mid-2017 – June 30, 2021), broken down into annual tranches. The mission’s objectives were to assist the Ministry of Health in drawing up the 2018 Annual Budgeted Work Plan (PTBA), to obtain their first disbursement and to support the Ministry in preparing and executing the necessary anticipatory actions to accelerate the execution of the project’s components.
