The Ministry of Public Health, with the support of financial and technical partners, has the ambition to work towards moving Niger towards achieving the goals of the CSU and the SDGs. The “Stratégie de la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle au Niger – 2021/2030” document confirms this choice by making the “optimal operation of the payment exemption policy for children under five and pregnant women” a strategic axis defined as follows
The policy relating to this exemption is the “flagship” national policy for health risk coverage.
More specifically, this technical assistance mission will support the Ministry of Health and a select working group in defining the institutional and functional framework of this new system.
