The objectives of the workshop are :
Acquire a coherent overview of teaching, learning and support tools for HSR actors in Burkina Faso;
Have an overview of the health system model and the six building blocks as described by the WHO and the seven specific objectives of the Global Fund 2017-2022 strategy (core constituent), including the main challenges related to health system strengthening ;
Discuss actions to be implemented at all levels of the healthcare system following the training of national experts;
Get to know and experience the HSS gap analysis tool developed by Health Focus GmbH as part of the joint project with GIZ-BACKUP Health and the Global Fund;
Be technically equipped to train and coach key stakeholders at country level to analyze the national situation using the proposed HSS gap analysis tool, assess needs and identify new opportunities and strategies to optimize the use of health sector HSS investments, including investments planned for the next funding cycle (2020-2022) of the Global Fund.
