This study examines how development partners influence domestic health financing in Senegal, which is essential for achieving UHC. Researchers identified four main mechanisms of influence: setting standards, lobbying, providing policy advice, and offering financing. The findings highlight the importance of increasing tax-based contributions and expanding Community-Based Health Insurance, while also pointing out potential equity limitations and suggesting further research into the impact of international creditors on health financing.
