The overall objective of the Kenyan’s health sector is to attain universal coverage of critical services that positively contribute to the health of the population. The government of Kenya recognised the critical role that health financing plays and embarked on developing a health financing strategy. As part of the process, a stakeholders’ meeting on health financing in Kenya was conducted to discuss healthcare reforms, lessons learnt and key proposals for the strategy. This document is an outline of what was presented at the stakeholders meeting.
