The document shows the evolution of health insurance coverage (CAS) in Peru for the period 2009-2017. It also evaluates the main associated demographic, social and economic factors, using a secondary analysis of the National Household Survey. For each year, they estimated the overall CAS of the Seguro Integral de Salud del Seguro Social en Salud, and performed annual trend tests.
