Hospital utilization among urban poor in Indonesia in 2018: is government-run insurance effective?

The study investigates the effectiveness of national health insurance on hospital utilization among the urban poor in Indonesia.
Results indicate that individuals with national health insurance are more likely to use a hospital compared to those who are uninsured. Consequently, the study suggests that national health insurance effectively enhances hospital utilization among Indonesia’s urban poor.
