This report is a summary of a teleconference meeting hosted by P4H discussing health financing (HF) reforms in Malawi, attended by representatives from various organizations including WHO, GIZ, USAID, the World Bank, and others. The meeting covered several topics, including the Ministry of Health’s commitment to Universal Health Coverage (UHC), previous work done on health financing, and current requests for assistance regarding National Health Insurance (NHI) and analytical health financing work. Perspectives from different partners were shared, highlighting the need for broad-based solutions and evidence generation. The report also discusses the coordination of upcoming missions and the decision to combine the P4H mission with the World Bank mission to reduce duplication of efforts. Finally, it outlines the next steps, emphasizing collaboration among members and coordination with the Ministry of Health and country offices in  Malawi.
