The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS6-RCA) was conducted in 2018-2019 by Institut Centrafricain des Statistiques et des Etudes Economiques et Sociales (ICASEES), as part of the worldwide MICS survey program.
The present MICS6-RCA survey, 2018-2019 provides current, reliable and disaggregated information on the situation of children and women in Central African Republic, and tracks progress towards goals and targets emanating from international agreements, including the SDGs, the Millennium Declaration, the World Fit for Children (WFFC) Plan of Action, the Abuja Malaria Plan, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS.
It is also used to monitor the implementation and evaluate national framework plans, in particular the RCPCA 2017-2021, as well as most of the government’s cooperation programs with development partners. This survey will also enable us to assess the impact on social indicators of the crisis that hit the country in 2012.
