The Country-led Assessment for Prioritization on Immunization decision-support tool aids LMICs like Indonesia and Ethiopia to prioritise vaccines, optimise health strategies, and engage stakeholders effectively.
The study “National Immunization Program Decision Making Using the Country-led Assessment for Prioritization on Immunization (CAPACITI) decision-support tool: User Feedback from Indonesia and Ethiopia” explores the implementation and user feedback of the CAPACITI tool in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Developed in collaboration with the WHO, CAPACITI aids national immunization programs in prioritising vaccines amidst resource constraints. Indonesia and Ethiopia piloted this tool, evaluating its effectiveness in balancing multiple criteria and stakeholder perspectives for decision-making. The study underscores both the benefits and challenges identified by users, providing valuable insights for enhancing immunization strategies globally.
