This final report identifies the priority areas for modernization and the major orientations for strengthening the Ministry of Health’s capacities in the short, medium and long term over the next few years.

The report identifies the priority areas for modernization and the major orientations for strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Health. For this purpose, as for the situation analysis and diagnostic report, the study was structured at the request of the beneficiary around the six (6) pillars of the health system as defined by the WHO, namely:

  1. governance,
  2. financing,
  3. health human resources,
  4. physical resources and inputs (infrastructure, equipment and medicines),
  5. the health information system,
  6. services.
