The CNAM, with the support of the World Bank, through the World Bank Health Project Coordination Unit (UCP Santé BM) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is planning an experimental phase extended to three health districts, integrating the various socio-professional strata of the localities concerned.
Initially, however, the first phase will be devoted to indigent households, followed by the gradual inclusion of workers from the informal agricultural and non-agricultural sectors.
Following the three health districts and after analysis of the results of this phase, all the partners plan to extend the experiment to six other health districts from March 2019.
It will also be an opportunity to develop a linkage mechanism between the CMU and the Performance-Based Financing (PBF) project.
