The vision of the national health policy is “A Guinea where all populations are healthy, economically and socially productive, benefiting from universal access to quality promotional, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, including palliative care, with their full participation”.
In July 2017, the national community health policy was validated. It includes major thrusts such as: 1) strengthening the governance of local health institutions; 2) improving the performance of the community health system; 3) contributing to the empowerment of vulnerable populations.
