As part of the P4H platform, the aim was to draw up and implement a joint roadmap for the development of universal health coverage.
This document is drawn up with the aim of producing an analysis of innovative financing mechanisms and its potential to mobilize additional domestic resources, as well as synthesizing the lessons of experience.
Thus the analysis of the proposals made by the various groups participating in the September 2015 launch workshop, a certain consensus for the following mechanisms: airline tickets, financial transactions, alcohol, tobacco, large companies, mining resources, VAT, mobile telephony and gambling winnings (Zakat deserving further analysis).
