In this ppt presentation the World Bank presents the study to be carried out by a technical assistance for the development of a human capital strengthening project.
The objectives of the study are :
Develop a national human capital development strategy(HCD) and investment plan 2021-2025, with a focus on women and youth and taking into account :
o The President of Faso’s DCH vision
o National and sectoral strategic plans already in existence or under development(RND)
o ECOWAS regional HCD strategy
oChallenges related to the current economic situation
Study the feasibility of setting up an innovation center to promote new approaches to DCH challenges, with the mission of :
o Contribute to the development of information systems and tools to better analyze quantitative and qualitative data and information in order to inform decision-making and assess impacts.
o Identify, test and help scale up innovative initiatives implemented locally or in other countries
o Provide technical and operational support to CTOS and ministerial departments in the implementation of flagship multisectoral and sectoral initiatives.
