Last week Alexey Tsoy, the Ministry of healthcare of Kazakhstan, held an online meeting with representatives of international and non-governmental organizations. The meeting participants got acquainted with the current situation in the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and discussed promising areas for further partnership.
The agenda of the event included a discussion on the COVID-19 vaccination and prevention, including the development of primary health care, care for people with HIV/AIDS, and providing medical care to migrants. The event was attended by the head of the Kazakhstan WHO CO, Dr. Caroline Clarinval, Director of the Special primary health care program Suraya Dalil, UNICEF regional health adviser Basil Rodriguez, Alliance for Health Promotion consultant Joanna Koch and GAVI representatives.
Alexey Tsoi noted that the cooperation of the Ministry of healthcare with international and non-governmental organizations is characterized by stability and high interest in its deepening.
