To curb COVID-19 spending, the Australian Government stops providing free rapid antigen testing (RAT). However, tests are still freely provided for health reasons and partly subsidized for those who are considered close contacts. While discounted RAT for concession card holders, those who are senior citizens and pensioners, is going to be discussed during a cabinet meeting. Meanwhile, the government has procured 100 million tests that will be delivered in the next two months.
