Bangladesh will spend approximately Tk 17,000 crore in this fiscal year to procure Covid-19 vaccines, aiming to secure around 24 crore doses from multiple sources. The budget includes transportation and other costs related to vaccine administration.
According to vaccine procurement, vaccines will be started delivering from November onwards and 10.5 crore doses of vaccines are expected to be met by December.
Approximately 3.33 crore people have gotten their first doses, while around 1.69 crore people have received second doses as of September 30. To read more, click
