With a capacity to treat 1,500 patients a year, the center will be able to treat a number of cancers on site, including cervical, prostate, lung, rectal, esophageal and stomach cancers, according to the Ministry of Health.
A radiotherapy center built by the State of Burkina Faso with the support of the Emir of Qatar, through the Qatari Fund for Development, at a total cost of 7 billion 700 million CFA francs.
During Wednesday’s cabinet meeting, the President of Faso called on the government to make the center accessible to all Burkinabè.
