Drawing inspiration from the Togolese health insurance model was the main objective of a mission from Burkina Faso’s Caisse nationale d’assurance maladie universelle (CNAMU), which visited in Togo in December 2020.
The CNAMU delegation learned from the experience of INAM, Togo’s national health insurance institute, in order to successfully implement the universal health insurance scheme launched in Burkina Faso.
Guinea and Cameroon had already visited to learn from INAM’s know-how.
