Through the CFP, P4H takes part in the monthly meetings of partners supporting the health sector in Burundi, chaired by the European Union.
Together with the World Bank, P4H coordinates the working group on health financing, which includes other partners such as Coopération Suisse, Enabel, the European Union, Expertise France, UNICEF and Fonds Mondial.
With the support of the WHO, the CFP holds group work sessions and individual meetings with partners and consultants on specific topics and studies in progress or to come, such as the feasibility study for an effective pooling of partner funds using a single management system in the BPF.
This framework encourages exchanges with the various partners who are very interested in discussing the health financing strategy to move towards universal health coverage in Burundi, with a view to better aligning their future support and programs with the country’s strategic choices and priorities.
