Cambodia has launched the Roadmap for Universal Health Coverage 2024-2035

Cambodia has committed to provide quality healthcare without financial hardship, aligning with the global Sustainable Development Goals, by launching the Roadmap for Universal Health Coverage 2024-2035.

On May 23, 2024, Prime Minister Hun Manet officially launched the Roadmap for Universal Health Coverage in Cambodia 2024-2035, which aims ensure equitable healthcare access for all citizens. This 12-year roadmap focuses on three core objectives: (1) expanding social health protection coverage, (2) extending essential health services, and (3) reducing out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for the population.
