On March 30, the “Antoinette-Sassou- N’Guesso” sickle cell disease national reference center adopted its budget for the 2021 financial year, with revenue and expenditure totalling 663,325,000 CFA francs, during the 4th ordinary session of the management committee chaired by Prof. Jean Louis Nkoua.
This budget is down 4% on last year’s figure of 694,700,000 CFA francs, explains the press release read out by the center’s general manager, Prof. Alexis Elira Dokekias. A drop, he stressed, due to the current situation marked by the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to adopting the budget, the agenda for this session covered the following items: the minutes of the 3rd session, the 2020 activity report, the 2020 administrative and management accounts, the action plan and the 2021 budget.
