On 07.08.2021, the CSU Technical Monitoring Committee held its first session of the year on the institutional framework for the start-up of the Medical Assistance Scheme (AMED). This session, which follows
the validation workshop of the study report on the institutional framework of the AMED regime, held from August 02 to 06, 2021, had the following objectives
to take note of the conclusions and recommendations of the workshop and to give clear directions for the start-up of the AMED scheme. During its session, the CTS examined the recommendations proposed by the workshop and validated 10 important decisions to be submitted to the CSU High Committee for adoption (See report attached to this article).
As a reminder, the Technical Monitoring Committee is
in charge of
supervision of actions implemented by the CSU’s Interministerial Coordination Unit. It is made up of the General Secretaries of the Ministries involved in the CSU process, as well as representatives of civil society organizations, trade unions and others. It is chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health.
