The national pre-dialogue workshop on maternal, neonatal and infant mortality took place from 27-30.01.2022 in Mara.
During the conference, health professionals, partners and stakeholders will spend four days working on the themes selected for discussion, identifying and analyzing the various bottlenecks and challenges by pillar that are holding back the performance of the health system in terms of maternal, newborn and child health. They also proposed innovative solutions, approaches and alternatives to strengthen strategies for reducing maternal, neonatal and infant mortality.
Nine (09) themes were analyzed during the conference. These are : governance, leadership and partnership, financing, service delivery, human resources, medicines, vaccines, technology, the health information system, the role of community health in maternal, newborn and child health, and immunization.
