The Ministry of Public Health in partnership with the World Bank is organizing a training course on performance-based financing (PBF) from September 13 to 25, 2021, for 170 agents from various ministries and national institutions. The first session, which started on 13.09.2021, is aimed at some thirty executives from the Ministries of Public Health and National Solidarity, Economy and Planning, Finance and Budget, Women, and the CSU Inter-ministerial Coordination Unit. The training course aims to (1) empower policy and decision makers with theoretical knowledge and skills in the BPF approach, (2) provide a better understanding of the concepts, objectives and methodology in health facilities (3) discuss the evidence base for implementing a successful BPF mechanism and (4) discuss contract design and implementation”.
