As part of the process of setting up the CSU’s medical assistance scheme in Chad, the CSU’s Cellule Interministérielle de Coordination has asked the P4H Network to provide technical assistance to support the process of starting up the scheme, in particular to help develop the institutional and organizational structure (and associated operational processes). It is in this context that the study aimed at defining the institutional framework of the AMED scheme, according to its functions and operational processes, was commissioned with funding from the supported P4H network. The study was carried out by SwissTPH under the coordination of GIZ.
The validation workshop brought together ministry representatives, civil society players and representatives of TFPs (Swiss Cooperation, WHO, GFF, World Bank, AFD).
