As part of the process of certifying their receivables, 90 Gabonese companies in sectors ranging from construction and public works to services, catering and hotels have just been called in by the collection and litigation department of the Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie et de Garantie Sociale (CNAMGS).
In a press release issued on January 29, CNAMGS reminded these entities of their duty to pay their debts.
In keeping with its role and remit, this appeal, which is fully in line with the procedure for clearing the accounts of its customers/partners, nevertheless comes at a particularly delicate economic time, with a combination of bankruptcy, the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis.
