The two parliamentary chambers of the Republic of Congo adopted on July 27 in Brazzaville, the bill authorizing ratification of the additional financing agreement
of forty-two million seven hundred thousand euros (42,700,000) or around twenty-eight billion fifty-four million (28,054,000.00) CFA francs.
“This funding project aims to prevent, detect and respond to the threat posed by Covid-19 and to strengthen national health preparedness systems in Congo, in order to provide assistance in urgent efforts to respond to Covid-19 through early case detection, diagnostic capabilities, contact tracing.”

For his part, the Minister of Health and Population has announced sanctions against those responsible for proven bad practices in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
