The Vaccination Law was approved by the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala through Decree 25-2024, guaranteeing access to immunization against different diseases.
The objective of the Vaccination Law is to guarantee protection against immuno-preventable diseases through the universal administration of quality, safe and effective vaccines to at-risk groups.
Through this Law, the State is responsible for guaranteeing the availability, adequate storage, safety and administration of vaccines. It is based on the Political Constitution of the Republic of Guatemala, as well as the universal, voluntary and free access to vaccines for the entire population.
