The Minister of Employment and Social Protection, Me Adama Kamara, has pleaded with the government and the President of the Republic for health and retirement insurance for Ivorian farmers.
Minister Kamara, who is also Chairman of the Interministerial Committee for the Fight against Child Labor (CIM), launched this plea during the celebration of World Day and the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labor 2021.
In his speech, the Minister asked for the support of the wife of the President of the Republic to help farmers benefit from this health and retirement insurance, because, he said, a farmer who can look after himself more easily will be less often replaced by his children in the fields.
