A workshop was held in Yamoussoukro to develop a framework for the National Platform for the Coordination of Health Financing. This platform is intended as a forum for exchange, with the remit of establishing consensus on healthcare expenditure targets, ensuring the harmonization, alignment and monitoring of internal and external funding around the objectives defined in the PNDS, and reinforcing the role of the Ministry in charge of health in its role as coordinator of the healthcare sector.
The national coordination platform comprises three types of body: (i) a steering committee, (ii) a technical secretariat and (iii) technical working groups (TWGs).
To support the platform’s activities, a workshop financed by the WHO country office was organized from September 15 to 17, 2021 to provide it with a framework, a document that sets out the activities to be carried out with regard to the missions assigned to it.
Attached to this article, the joint framework report. Other documents related to this important workshop can be downloaded from the Côte d’Ivoire page.
