On Thursday, March 1, 2018 a Council of Ministers was held in Ouagadougou in ordinary session under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Roch Marc Christian KABORE, President of Faso, President of the Council of Ministers. A decree creating a public social welfare institution called Caisse nationale d’assurance maladie universelle (CNAMU) was adopted. This is a key step in the development of AMU and the road to Couverture Sanitaire Universelle.
