The Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) has started processing payments for February healthcare services. As of June 10, a total of 124.9 billion tenge has been disbursed to 1,807 medical organizations. The final payments, after deducting previous advances, are expected to be completed by June 14, 2024.

As of June 10, 1,807 medical organizations have received payments totaling 124.9 billion tenge, taking into account deductions for previously issued advances.
Medical organizations were not left without funding during this time. At the beginning of the year, they were provided with a 30% advance, as is done annually.
A total of 789 billion tenge in advances was issued to 1,875 medical organizations. Some providers declined the advance due to a lack of need. The issued advances will be deducted from actual monthly volumes.
Overall, since the beginning of 2024, the total funding volume has reached 1.016 trillion tenge, including outpatient drug provision.
Payment for February services is expected to be fully completed by June 14, 2024.
