As part of the implementation of the national strategic plan for social protection, Niger plans to set up the CSU to ensure better access to healthcare for the population, whatever their origin or socio-economic conditions. To this end, the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) has set up a technical committee to reflect on Universal Health Coverage in Niger, and in particular to define a model for its operation at central and regional levels.
