The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed a new agreement to expand their collaboration in the area of health
The agreement allows PAHO and the IDB to expand their collaboration to respond more effectively and with greater impact to the health challenges facing the region. To improve health outcomes, PAHO will seek to leverage its comparative advantage in the provision of technical cooperation, particularly through its revolving funds. For its part, the IDB has a new institutional strategy that emphasizes the importance of partnerships, resource mobilization and collaboration with other multilateral agencies.
