On the occasion of International Workers’ Rights Day, the Health Insurance General Agency answered questions from citizens. The most frequently asked questions included how to verify the payment of insurance premiums by insured individuals, fast or online payment options, and the list of discounted and free medications.
On the occasion of International Workers’ Rights Day, officials from the Health Insurance General Agency participated in the “Open Day” event organized by the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions . The agency provided various public services related to health insurance during the event.
During the event, the Health Insurance Council promoted newly approved regulations and policies. They offered detailed information and guidance on the services covered by the Health Insurance Fund, including the tariffs for medical services, co-payment percentages, and how to access care and services provided by rehabilitation centers. Additionally, they addressed questions from citizens regarding these services.
Agency staff also verified health insurance premium payment records for insured citizens on-site and demonstrated the fastest ways to make payments, including online options. Furthermore, they introduced the list of discounted medications and presented information about the program to improve access to essential medicines. Under this program, certain critical medications are available free of charge, with full coverage provided under the “Novartis Access” initiative.
