The health system measures put into place in Guinea to contain the spread of COVID-19 are:
*Preparation of a National Emergency and Response Plan, with the support of international development partners, with the following key measures: strengthening surveillance at ports of entry; reinforcing capacity for COVID-19 detection; increasing the number of quarantine centres; expanding treatment facilities and acquiring medical equipment; conducting a communication campaign. The implementation cost of the National Emergency Plan is estimated at US$47 million (0.3% of GDP).
