Predicting resource needs for implementing health care services and interventions is an extremely powerful tool contributing to priority setting processes and national health strategic plans at the country level, as well as for global level analyses to advocate for increased resources for health.
However we are often faced with inadequate data on the prices of goods and services that contribute to the health system. WHO CHOICE provides global databases on the prices needed to estimate health resource needs.
These data have undergone a major update for the first time in a decade, and we can now share the publication and associated database of prices with our P4H members through the Value for Money Knowledge area.
