Under the framework of ILO-Luxembourg project “Support to the extension of social health protection in Southeast Asia”, the ILO and Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) co-organized a three-day training on customer care skills for 25 VSS staff working on customer care. The training successfully equipped VSS officials – mostly from the VSS Customer Care Center – with practical skills necessary for customer care daily work. The training also prepared for participants to become a pool of resource persons to build the customer care institutional system of VSS at local levels.
Recently the Government of Viet Nam has rigorously emphasized the need for the public administration to better serve citizens and effectively contribute to the economic and social development of the country. VSS has taken a farther step toward client-centric service approach through the establishment of the customer care centre in order to provide advice and support to their customers and to promote excellent experience in interaction with VSS’s services. The ILO will further support VSS in this endeavour in the coming weeks through a Training of trainers and coaching sessions of VSS Officials.
