In Burkina Faso, the Council of Ministers has decided to introduce measures to encourage free travel.

Extract from the minutes of the Council of Ministers of March 2, 2016: “In the area of maternal and child health, the Council has decided on the following appropriate measures, which will be implemented from April 02, 2016. These are: free breast and cervical cancer screening; free care for children under five; free caesarean sections; free deliveries; free care for pregnant women.” Extract from the minutes of the Council of Ministers of March 16, 2016: The second report relates to the timetable for operationalizing the free healthcare measures announced at the Council of Ministers of March 02, 2016. The operational start of this program is scheduled for April 02, 2016.
