Dear Roman,
as discussed, let me introduce you to Jean-Olivier Schmidt and Michael Adelhardt. Jean-Olivier heads the Section for Social Protection at GIZ in Germany. He is highly involved in the P4H – Social Health Protection Network, a support network for UHC in low and middle income countries. Michael works for WHO and is the P4H coordinator. They have expressed an interest to understand better what’s currently happening at the EHIA, and if there are potential fields for support through the P4H partners. Dear Jean-Olivier, dear Michael,
Roman Tesfay is the Director General of the Ethiopian Health Insurance Agency (EHIA). The EHIA is about to launch Ethiopia’s Social Health Insurance (SHI) scheme, and is also involved in the operations of the CBHI pilots ongoing in the country. Mrs. Roman has indicated that she is very interested in getting to know the P4H network, its goals and core competencies, and how the network could potentially support the EHIA in their strategy and operations.
