The Infection Control Support Fund for Healthcare Workers at Hospitals Responding to COVID-19 will be temporarily included in the hospital’s fee covered by the National Health Insurance to improve the working conditions of healthcare workers at hospitals dedicated to combating COVID-19 in Korea.
Hospitals designated by the government for COVID-19 response, including infectious disease hospitals, regional hub hospitals for COVID-19 treatment, and hospitals operating beds exclusive for serious cases, are eligible to include the Support Fund in the calculation of their fee per hospitalized day of each COVID-19 patient.
