“We felt it was important to subscribe to INAM health insurance for our union members, because today we work in a precarious situation. Almost all journalists are not registered with the National Social Security Fund, and being aware of this situation, we thought it would be a good idea for our members to benefit from health insurance”, Isidore Kouwonou, General Secretary of the National Union of Independent Journalists of Togo.
The completion of this project marks the integration of media professionals into , the solidarity-based mechanism for covering financial risks linked to illness.
