Two documents have been recently uploaded to the documents section of the Kenya country page. An assessing the feasibility of the amendment of the NHIF stipulating that all Kenyans must be registered under in the new universal health coverage program. In their analysis, the author looked at the key elements of the proposed legislation that relate to the question of equity. The other document examines the NHIF reforms in premium contribution rates, benefit packages and provider payment methods and their implications for strategic purchasing and health system goals of equity, efficiency and quality.
