A National Health Insurance pilot program was announced in the Commonwealth of Dominica in 2017.
The Minister of Health of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr. Kenneth Darroux announced the launch of a National Health Insurance pilot program. The pilot focuses on pregnant women and children. The benefits of the insurance package include private sector services that are not provided by the government. The pilot is funded through the Citizenship by Investment Program (CBI).
