The Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie (CANAM) reassures its users that the compulsory health insurance service (AMO) continues throughout the country, despite the threat of suspension announced by the Syndicat National des Pharmaciens du Mali (SYNAPHARM).
Faced with this situation, the General Management of the French National Health Insurance Fund (CANAM) issued a press release stating that it ” has been working, for several months, on the complete switchover to ACTIV PREMIUM “.
This new information system ACTIV PREMIUM aims, among other things, to dematerialize medical claims forms; optimize payment times for approved service providers; ensure traceability of transactions in the AMO information system; ensure control of AMO resources and expenditure; and dematerialize and secure authentication of AMO beneficiaries. With the old system, built around the ESQUIF software package, fraud was rife: identity fraud, document fraud, benefit fraud, improper invoice payment. The fight against fraud is therefore imperative for CANAM and its partners.
Details of the press release, signed by CANAM General Manager, Brigadier General Boubacar Dembélé.
