On December 15 and 16, the BAOBAB room at the RADISSON BLU Hotel in Bamako was the venue for a workshop to bring together those involved in implementing universal health coverage, with a view to better integrating free health care into Mali’s universal health insurance scheme. (RAMU).
Organized by the Direction Nationale de la Protection Sociale et de l’Economie Solidaire (DNPSES) of the French Ministry of Health…. with the support of WHO/P4H, this workshop which aims to set up a consultation framework for more efficient integration of free services into the UHIP system was chaired by the representative of the Minister of Health and Social Development, and was attended by all stakeholders from the relevant structures.
