Mali’s Caisse nationale d’assurance maladie (Canam) held its 22nd board meeting in Bamako on Wednesday February 24. Directors considered the activity report and budget performance for the year ended November 30, 2020, before voting on the activity report and draft budget for 2021.
According to Pr Mamady Kané, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Caisse has mobilized more than 56.1 billion FCFA as of November 30, 2020, with a completion rate of 84% compared with the forecast annual amount of more than 67 billion. For fiscal 2021, Canam’s budget is estimated at just over 75 billion, compared with just over 67 billion last year.
