These funds, approved by the CNT, will supplement the budget deficits earmarked for the fight against Covid in Mali.
According to Minister of Health 6.647 billion CFA francs have been injected by Mali’s development partners in the fight against the pandemic.
She told parliamentarians that the response fund, in which they had just approved the injection of 32 billion CFA francs , is housed in the Department of Economy and Finance. In addition, Mme Sangaré pointed out that the funding allocated to her department is audited by the Auditor General’s office.
